Prioritized Value Drivers
From OpenAgile
The term "Prioritized Value Drivers" refers to a list of all known Value Drivers that are sorted by their priority in relation to the Goal.
Descriptive items of independent work units each of which delivers some value to the team's stakeholders when completed. A Value Driver is often written so that it follows the S.M.A.R.T. (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Results-oriented and Time-bound) attributes. Generally Value Drivers are written so that individual Value Drivers can be started and finished within a Cycle. However, this is a guideline, not a strict requirement. In project environments, this guideline is more applicable than in operational environments where Value Drivers may represent very long-term activities that are continuously valuable.
There is no prescribed format for writing Value Drivers. The Growth Facilitator often takes the lead in writing and managing the Value Drivers, but is not the "owner" of the Value Drivers. Some OpenAgile teams write Value Drivers using the "User Story" format found in agile software development.
