Overview of Scrum

Scrum is an agile method used for new product development in software. It focuses on processes for managing a product development effort that affect a single team of people. Scrum is deliberately simple in order to be both broadly applicable and focused on doing one thing well: helping an organization discover impediments to effective product development. Scrum is a primary source of concepts for OpenAgile and there is a strong relationship between the two approaches. Ken Schwaber, one of the creators of Scrum, is a signatory on the Agile Manifesto: http://www.agilemanifesto.org/
